I woke up around 6:30 in the morning. I went out to the yard and fed the dog, and after that, I did my usual 45-minute workout. Right after that, I practiced some salsa dancing and then I took a shower.

I hurried up a bit to head to the English institute and have breakfast afterward. I was rushing against the clock, thinking I wouldn’t have enough time to eat breakfast before my English class started, but the waiter told me, «I’ll hurry up and bring your breakfast right away. What would you like to order?»

I ordered scrambled eggs with ham, mixed fruit, coffee, and a piece of sweet bread. They served everything really fast, and I ate it all in just 12 minutes—a bit too quick compared to my usual pace. I paid and walked to the institute.

Today was conversation club, and the teacher organized a card game—Poker, I guess.

While I was in class, I saw teacher Fernanda in the classroom next door, and it occurred to me to buy her a chocolate and a piece of sweet bread. I asked teacher José Manuel for permission, went back to the restaurant, ordered the items, and asked the waiter to deliver them to teacher Fernanda at the English institute.

Something pretty funny happened, though. It turns out there are two teachers named Fernanda! Jajaja, I had no idea about that, so the waiter had to double-check several times until I finally pointed out exactly which teacher Fernanda the chocolate and sweet bread were for.

In the end, the waiter successfully delivered the order to the right teacher Fernanda.

A few minutes later, my class ended, and I asked to be excused. Right before I left the school, teacher Fernanda called me over to her cubicle and said, «Thank you for the thoughtful gesture.» I just replied, «Teacher Fernanda, please allow yourself to be pampered,» and then I left the institute.
